"Oils depict vibrancy and permanence. Water is unpredictable so painting with water is like traveling life's highways. Constant challenges are waiting; like human free will, water chooses its own path. Guiding the natural flotation of that water can render something really beautiful or equally horrific. Whether I choose to work in water color, oil, prisma pencil or charcoal, the message my work sends is of utmost importance because I know it is a reflection of my character and those who came before and those who will follow me."
